About Kudo Sigā! Ni nē kudo ō higùgw mon. Hello! Here's a brief overview of Kudo:
  • Fluid-S active-stative, with SOV word order in general and VSO for questions.
  • The loose distinction between verbs and nouns has collapsed into just nouns. A new verbal auxiliary has risen to carry TAM. Adjectives are still verb-like.
  • Various mandatory classifiers for numeric quantities of things.
  • Two degrees of both past and future tense. The distant tenses are most often used in storytelling, predictions, and promises.
  • Polypersonal pronouns used with transitive verbs.
  • Generic locative case can be further specified with (optional) words meaning inside of, in front of, etc.
  • Politeness distinction in pronouns, but using none at all is the most polite.
  • Kudo spelling has officially been standardized to match up with pronunciation in most cases. Old translations are being updated or deleted.
  • NEW: Complex tone system, etc. What's better than this? Just sounds being changed.
