Court language of the Iris Federation
Court language of the Iris Federation
It is the language of Ancient Iris, also known as the Iris Federation, an Iron Age civilization (c. 14th-2nd century BCE) with roots in the Bronze Age-era 'First Iris dynasty', located in the Central Basin region of Soltenna. Namesake to the river Acre (Riyan: Airé /ˈirɛ/), it is the oldest attested Rietic language, having been spoken as a literary language of high status in various Soltennan polities in antiquity before being slowly replaced by Kwang by the turn of Common Era as the original civilization fell into the shadow realm.
