About Sindielic
Created for a friend, who is aparently VERY picky, even though he knows essentially nothing about linguistics. Regardless, Sindielic was created for the purpose of aesthetic, and so is not particularly naturalistic, and I have grown to like the style.
Sindielic is a highly inflectional language with nouns that decline into one of 3 genders and one of 4 cases (1 gender and 2 cases for pronouns, excluding possessives), and verbs that conjugate into, other than the infinitive, 5 tenses (as well as the gnomic, imperative, and conditional moods and the causative and passive voices). Verbs must agree with their subject in grammatical gender and person. The only irregular verb is "sio" (to be), which has far fewer tenses and no subject-verb agreement rules. Adjectives and adverbs do not conjugate.
Sindielic is also very flexible, with its typical SVO and adjective-noun orders often changed for euphony and levels of politeness, a feature inspired by Latin. Sindielic is, as a whole, lightly influenced by Latin, but it is not based on Latin. Okay, maybe a little.
The language borrows the general idea of Esperanto "Correllatives" and lacks labial consonants (except /f/) and /u/, outside of loanwords and /au/.
I have a conscript (that actually looks quite nice), but lack the resources to put it on here.
