About Fundah
This is a kinda in-progress language, named Funda. It is an artlang with grammar things I liked when I started it. It's spoken in a conworld that is barely developed, and that has been restarted twice.
Some things about this conlang:
Working on a mostly-detailed documentation of the entire language as of February 14, 2021. Just finished the documentation, I'm debating whether to put it here or somewhere else.
Some things about this conlang:
- - SVO word order
- Interrogative verb conjugation for polar questions
- Vowel length
- Agglutination on everything
- Genitive particle

Syllable StructureSyllable structure is (C)V(N/O) where O represents /b/, /d/, or /g/. Similar consecutive vowels elide into one long vowel. Triple long vowels (written oō or ōo) and longer never appear in actual words except in dragging out sounds. Consecutive voiced plosives and nasals across syllables are not allowed, and elide into one consonant.
Stress informationStress always falls on the penultimate syllable, unless the word has one syllable, in which case there is no stress.
If the penultimate syllable is lengthened, then the second vowel will have the stress, similar to a rising tone towards the second vowel, although the tone is not phonemic. If the final syllable is lengthened, then the first vowel will have the stress, similar to a falling tone towards the second vowel. This tone is also not phonemic.

OtherWhen vowels appear directly next to each other, such as when a root ends with a vowel and an affix begins with the same vowel, or when two different vowels appear in the same word, there is an optional unmarked glottal stop between said vowels.
