About Arvrūs
This is a language made up for fun, so far with a working alphabet and numerical system. It's still very much a work in progress.
I also feel like it should be noted that I know pretty much nothing about language, I'm not a linguistics person, I just thought this would be fun. Rules of the language are based on what makes sense to me or things from other languages that I think are fun. For instance, articles can be mostly omitted because y'know, why use many words when can use few? There's also minimal conjugation just because it's my least favorite part of a language to learn. There's present, simple past, and simple future, that's it, and it doesn't change based on number or gender or anything. Most modifiers are done with prefixes and suffixes, including tenses, but also negation and gender. There aren't any gender-specific words like man or woman or anything, if you need to specify you can add a masculine or feminine modifier. (If masculine/feminine doesn't apply to whatever you're talking about just don't modify it lol)
*side note about the alphabet: I haven't worked out making a conscript that works (I'm new to this site and not very tech-savvy!) so letters are represented by the closest symbol I could find to how I actually draw them.

Language family relationships
[view] About ArvrūsThe original idea behind my conlang was to make a language as arbitrarily as I possibly could (while still being functional), so it kind of belongs to a family of its own, or at least that's the idea... naturally, since English is my native language,...
