About Savar
The Savar language (natively known as "Śavarla") is a Turkic language of the Oghur branch spoken by about 2 million people in the Volga region in the Republic of Savaristan. The language itself shares a degree of vocabulary with Kipchak due to historical developments and extensive contact. The Kereman dialect is used as the standard form for the Savar language. The current dictionary will focus on Classical Savar, the pre-Russian Savar spoken between the 15th and 17th century.
The Savar language has been written with the Perso-Arabic script since 1323 CE until 1700 with the forced introduction of Cyrillic after the fall of the Muslim Saray Khanate. Today Cyrillic is only de facto alphabet system while a version of the Latin alphabet is usually favoured in communities of Europe.
This language is not only a hobby but also the result of my hard work and hours analysing the remains of the Oghur Turkic languages. Thanks to several linguistic articles about the reconstruction of Volga-Bulgar and with help of Chuvash I've been able to create a more realistic and viable language, that may have existed under the right circumstances. Patterns of phonological and morphological changes were created using mainly Chuvash, examples of Volga-Bulghar and Oghur inscriptions. This is my attempt to recreate a language which imitates Volga-Bulgar realistically.
If you are interested to know my sources don't hesitate to contact me. If you want to create an Oghur language as well I can provide you with the sources but I won't help you.

[edit] [view] Sarayla (Sarai)The Southern Savar language has in difference a higher degree of similitude with the Common-Turkic languages even though it is still not intelligible, its divergence can be seen in its phonology which comprises considerable resemblance with the Tatar, Kazakh and Uygur languages while a portion of its vocabulary has loanwords of Persian origin and Arabic.
