The use of verbal phrases as nouns is pretty similar to English, Standard German and other West Germanic languages; however, unlike its English counterpart, the gerund ending in -/ɪŋg̥/ is not used for verbal phrases that are used as nouns, and bare infinitives and to-infinitives are used instead.

The use of verbal phrases with to-infinitive as nouns is very similar to that of English:

- せぃい持ふと多る゚物がすと語えっら゚ん - /si: hɑ:ft fe:ɫ dɪŋgəs tə tɛlən/ - せぃい 持ふと 多る゚ 物がす と 語えっら゚ん - 3.PL have-PL many thing-PL to tell - they have many things to tell.
- ひ試くとと与えいわ゚ん銭返ぐ - /hɪ fəɹsi:kt tə ge:vən gɛɫt təɹɪk/ - ひ 試くと と 与えいわ゚ん 銭 返ぐ - 3.ANIM.SG.NOM try.PRES-3.SG to give-INF money back - he/she tries to give money back.
- いっといす良どと泳いんまん在ん一ん暑と夏日 - /ɪt ɪs gu:t tə sʍɪmmən an ɛn hi:t sʊmmərdax/ - いっと いす 良ど と 泳いんまん 在ん 一ん 暑と 夏日 - 3.INANIM.SG.NOM/ACC be.3.SG.PRES good to swim-INF on one hot summer.day - It is good to swim on a hot summer's day

Several verbs can be followed by a to-infinitive or a bare infinitive. For example:

- せぃい助ある゚ぱん彩ちゃん見いんだんさい犬 - /si: haɫpən akarɪt͡ʃan fɪndən saɪ hʊnt/ - せぃい助ある゚ぱん彩ちゃん見いんだんさい犬 - 3.PL help.PST-PL Akari-chan find 3.SG.POSS dog - they helped Akari to find her dog.
- せぃい助ある゚ぱん彩ちゃんと見いんだんさい犬 - /si: haɫpən akarɪt͡ʃan tə fɪndən saɪ hʊnt/ - せぃい助ある゚ぱん彩ちゃんと見いんだんさい犬 - 3.PL help.PST-PL Akari-chan to find 3.SG.POSS dog - they helped Akari to find her dog.
- せぃい始あんなん話かん - /si: bəgannən taɫkən/ - せぃい 始あんなん 話かん - 3.PL.NOM/ACC begin.PST-PL talk-INF - they started talking.
- せぃい始あんなんと話かん - /si: bəgannən tə taɫkən/ - せぃい 始あんなん と 話かん - 3.PL.NOM/ACC begin.PST-PL to talk-INF - they started to talk.

When used in some verbs, the use of to-infinitives and bare infinitives can have different meanings. For example, when used with 止ぱん /stɔpən/ "to stop", using the bare infinitive indicates the meaning of "stop doing something", and using the to-infinitive indicates the meaning "stop in order to do something":

- せぃい止ぷたん話かん - /si: stɔptən taɫkən/ - せぃい 止ぷたん 話かん - 3.PL.NOM/ACC stop-PST-PL talk-INF - they stopped talking.
- せぃい止ぷたんと話かん - /si: stɔptən tə taɫkən/ - せぃい 止ぷたん と 話かん - 3.PL.NOM/ACC stop-PST-PL to talk-INF - they stopped and started to talk.
