In Droppa, nouns decline according to number and possession. The plural form of a noun is always optional, and all nouns are by default treated as mass nouns.

- 2nd sg: -m
- 3rd sg: -t
- 1sg pl: -nee/-nie (from proto -noi, the original form is -net)
- 2nd pl: -mee/-mie (from proto -moi, the original form is -met)
- 3rd pl: -te/-ti

When nouns are used with determiners like demonstratives or numerals, the determiners are always followed by classifiers when modifying nouns.

Below is a table for classifiers in Droppa:

1"slice, flake"for flat objects, cards, slices of food, or pieces of land
1"root"for thin, slender, pole, stick objects
1"hilt, handle"for long, thin objects with a part like a handle or hilt
1for trees and similar plants
1"seat"for buildings, settlements, mountains, etc.
1"way"for linear projections(i.e. lights, rays, etc.), orders given by an authority figure, courses of food, walls and doors, questions, number of times, etc.
1"item"for matters, clothings, goods, etc.
1"chunk, lump"for lands or things that come in chunks, lumps, nuggets, etc.(i.e. stone, money, etc.)
1"platform"for heavy objects like vehicles and machines
1"division, portion"for things come in portions(i.e. food, newspapers, notarized documents, contracts, etc.)
1"part"for novels, movies, TV dramas etc.; also for vehicles
1"bundle"for things in bundles(i.e. light, a bundle of flowers)
1"leaf"for ships, vessels, etc.
1"position"polite classifier for people
1for flowers and similar plants
1"mass, lump"for rotund and wound objects
1"location, site"for places and locations
1"root, source"for books


In addition to their uses with numbers and demonstratives, classifiers have some other functions. A classifier placed after a noun expresses a plural or indefinite quantity of it.
