[comments] [history] sst,sloy,sloya,empire,empires,height,collapse The Sloy Empire, the second empire to fully develop and expand on its own, came from the Eastern half of the Hakkan empire. Once Naxapsonowaye, the sister city of Hakkan City, was annexed as part of Hakkan territory and was later irrigated and the land cultivated as one of their own, it became the capital of the second province of the empire, Wothoxombo, or Land of Jewels. This made it easier for the Hakkan to remain away from home and close to the coastline. It also perpetuated an expansionist hunt, aided in proclaiming all the goods that were found on the southern coastline in the name of the Emperor. Sloy, became again a new center of commerce, on the plains just southeast of the lower Hathse mountain ranges and rivaled the likes of Naxapsonowaye in not only herbs and spices, but textiles and clothing. At one time there were 3 great provinces; Hakkan to the north just at the southern edge of the Western Hathse mountains, Naxapsonowaye just southwest of the Hakkan hillside by the central southern coast, and Sloy, which comprised the bulk lot of the peninsula, and the southeastern and eastern ends of the coastline. All that was already inhabited belonged to the Yeli, who were the Hakkan’s first point of contact after the height of Hakkan renaissance. Once Sloy was established, it later gained Tithkeim as a maritime port city. This allowed the Sloy province to flourish and further communicate and hold ties to the rest of the empire by way of Naxapsonowaye. Ultimately, the need to achieve independence became a newfound purpose for the Sloy and the city of New Sloy, which was later called Slojavni, helped culminate the revolution which ultimately took place on their homeland.
After achieving independence from the Hakkan empire, the Hakkan empire diminished and the Sloy empire thus began. Once the Sloy were able to inhabit nearly the entire edge of the southeastern coastline of the continent, they later made several attempts to industrialize and connect the roads in between these coastal settlements that later were found to be impractical much to the Sloy’s dismay. Settlements on the plains much further into the peninsula were later developed and incorporated in the livelihood and survival of the Sloy once they reached independence. The language evolved and several dialects were now in place and established to be part of a continuum that would later leave the citizens of the Sloy empire more confused than ever. It was later determined that the language of the capital city, Sloyapsasa, was to be used in all of the Sloy empire. The Sloy empire in itself was made up of 3 states: Tithkeim, Sloy, and Slojavni, named after the central urban settlements that sporadically straddled the land that they inhabited. They now had a standard language, their own textile industry and later shoemaker industries, and had learned to become a key maritime player in circumnavigation. They were the second people to come into contact with the Batus, and the first to discover the second largest continent on their planet, one that belonged to the Humyun.
Although half of the Sloy and Slojavni states remain under the southern half of their planet’s equator, their land is over a thousand meters above sea level and their coastline is made up of mostly cliff side beaches, and islets that are nearly as high as the land on the mainland. As their planet’s second Ice Age was currently underway, their ultimate purpose for living and way of life changed and consumption became a key issue in their day-to-day politics. Corruption plagued the current metropolis of Sloy and money only circulated amongst those who lived in the city and amongst those that spoken the Sloy language genealogically. Tourism, and their soon defunct textile industry fame to a screeching halt as Tithkeim, once a major player on the naval stage, was a desolate and barren place in comparison to the rest of the empire that later desired to annex the modern Yeli, in a decision that ultimately lead to the Balkanization of the empire first, and put their Sloyacentrist worlds views on hold as they knew no other way to survive without the use of annexations to care for the ever-so-increasing population growth. Thus, Slojavni, the second successful state and urban metropolis seceded first through a referendum, and the state of Yeli-Slojavni was created. Tithkeim became second to secede from the Sloy empire through a referendum of their own, and created the neighboring state of Tithkeim leaving the new landlocked state of Sloya remaining as the empire’s height drew to a close. Nowadays, nobody ever talks about how the Sloy how eager they were not in expanding the empire when it was at its height. They were the wallflower of the 3 states, and they ultimately had the last laugh when the Yeli-Slojavni state collapsed back into again. Rendering the collapse meaningless; nevertheless, Tithkeim in the long run was able to stand on its own with the help of Naxapsonowaye city to the west. ✎ Edit Article ✖ Delete Article
