Shmigan uses a base-six counting system. Numbers are made by contracting syllables as digits positionally. The digital syllables are: st (0), sth (1), sr (2), sk (3), ssh (4), sl (5).
Meanwhile the vowels are determined by the type of the number. An i is used for cardinals, e for ordinals, a for distributives, o for multiplicatives and u for fractionals. Finally all numbers end in an l. The only switch in internal vowels that is used is to fractionals to indicate fractional parts of the number.
Some examples:
Twenty Five = 25 (C) = 100 (C) = sthististil.
Twenty Sixth = 26 (O) = 101 (O) = sthestesthel.
Double = 2 (M) = 2 (M) = srol.
Triply = 3 (D) = 3 (D) = skal.
One hundred and twenty three point four five = 123.45 = 443.211 (O) = sshisshiskisrusthusthul.
One fourth = 0.4 (F) = 0.4 (F) = sshul. ✎ Edit Article ✖ Delete Article
